The Journey Begins

Many years ago when my daughter was born, I had the privilege of cutting the umbilical cord. It was a life changing experience for me. I framed the unsightly hospital scissors I used and they hang in my office still today. My daughter was so proud to show everyone the scissors her dad used to bring her into this world.

I knew that I wanted as many fathers and others to experience that feeling of inexplicable joy and pride. Her mother had done most of the work but I was there to complete the miracle along with our doctors and nurses. It became my life’s mission to find a way to reach as many parents, grandparents, siblings and any others that could form an attachment to that special day.

We have so many things to help us remember our wedding day but what do we really have to remember what is considered to be the most memorable day of a person's life?
